The Prepaid SIM service is aimed at those users wishing to keep control of their communication cost but also ideal for adventure seekers and yacht owners needing satellite communication for specific duration each year.

Iridium Offers the Satellite Industries First Quality Guarantee
Iridium is offering all new customers a network quality guarantee with a promise of 100 percent satisfaction with Iridium service. The Iridium Network Quality Guarantee promises credits up to 100 minutes of airtime and three months free subscription fees if the Iridium service fails to complete properly initiated voice calls from new Iridium satellite handsets.
This offer is only valid for new customers using Iridium handheld satellite phones. If a customer is not satisfied with the quality of Iridium’s satellite service within the first 90 days of service the customer may submit a claim through their participating service provider. Iridium will contact the service provider to ensure the issues are not related to improper usage. If clam is valid Iridium will issue the customer credits through the service provider.
Iridium offers the only network that provides pole to pole coverage with no service gaps anywhere on the planet. Iridium’s constellation of cross linked low earth orbiting satellites provide multiple layers of redundancy to ensure the reliability of their network. Iridium’s 66 operational satellites are complemented by numerous in orbit spares. Calls are connected from one satellite to another till they are downloaded to one of Iridium’s gateways where it is patched into the public switched phone system.
